Last term there was lots of things happening like the swimming sports, the senior triathlon and the cricket here is some stuff about these things. Lets start off with the cricket. A few people picked by Mrs Simkin got to go and watch the cricket world cup live at the Saxton Stadium and miss school for that day. Now about the swimming sports. Some of the seniors went to the Motueka high school pool and participated in the swimming sports. Dane participated and did freestyle which he came 4th in and backstroke which he came 3rd in and he was there for most of the day. Finally the senior triathlon. All the seniors participated, some of them were in a team of three and some were individual. The people in a team had to have a runner, swimmer and a biker. The runner had to run three half laps of the field, the swimmer had to swim two lengths of the pool and the biker had to bike three laps of the field but the individuals had to do everything by themselves. It was VERY hard especially for the individuals and by the end of it everyone was tired and ready to go home. Everyone probably agrees that last term was busy but fun at the same time.
